The First Dáil Centenary Commemoration Committee
The 1916-1921 Club exists to ensure that the founders of our democracy are properly remembered and commemorated. With this in mind, the Club formed the First Dáil Centenary Commemoration Committee. This Committee has already submitted its proposal to the Dept. of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. To date it has received a favourable response and The Club expects it to generate a positive influence.

Tá sé mar bun-aidhm ag Club 1916-1921 go gcuimhneófar ar agus go comórfaí bunathóirí ár ndaonlathas i gceart. Le seo in aigne againn, bhunaidh an Club an Coiste Comóradh Céad Bliain an Chéad Dáil. Tá a moladh churtha cheana fé bhráid an Roinn Cultúir, Oidhreacht agus an Ghaeltacht. Go nuige seo tá freagairt fábharach faighte ar seo, agus tá an Club ag tnúth go nginnfidh sé tioncar deimhneach.
